Pure death risk

Published 12 November 2021 · updated 3 October 2026 · Written or reviewed by Christophe Bouin

A pure death-risk policy pays if death occurs during the term. It does not build savings. The premium is the price of the cover. It is often easier to read beside a bank pillar 3a than inside one mixed premium.

The wider frame is the Swiss third pillar.

Is pure risk a pillar 3a?+
