Death cover
Death cover pays a capital to beneficiaries. A bank 3a pays the balance that exists. An insurance policy pays what the contract states, which can differ from the premiums paid and from the surrender value. This page publishes no sample capital.
Beneficiaries: who receives a 3a. Pure term cover: pure risk.
The wider frame is the Swiss third pillar.

No. A bank account pays the assets. Death capital beyond that is a policy clause.
