Life insurance in Switzerland

Published 18 March 2022 · updated 3 October 2026 · Written or reviewed by Christophe Bouin

Life insurance in Switzerland is not one product. A pure risk pays if death occurs during the term and builds no savings. An endowment mixes savings and death. A pillar 3a policy is tied and deductible inside the FSIO ceiling. A pillar 3b policy is flexible. This page announces no guaranteed capital.
